"TRANSORMING EVERYTHING!"
"I dream of a “missionary option”, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation.'
-Pope Francis
"This variety of situations demands careful discernment; to speak of a “new evangelization” does not in fact mean that a single formula should be developed that would hold the same for all circumstances. And yet it is not difficult to see that what all the Churches living in traditionally Christian territories need is a renewed missionary impulse, an expression of a new, generous openness to the gift of grace. Indeed we cannot forget that the first task will always be to make ourselves docile to the freely given action of the Spirit of the Risen One who accompanies all who are heralds of the Gospel and opens the hearts of those who listen. To proclaim fruitfully the Word of the Gospel one is first asked to have a profound experience of God."
-Benedict XVI
What is Transformed?
Transformed is a dynamic one-day Catholic parish discipleship conference, for Catholic leaders of parishes and dioceses.
What makes Transformed different from other conferences?
Transformed focuses on what Catholic parishes and dioceses need, on the ground, to be renewed. The focus is on the practical and real-life ways that Catholic leaders can grow in their pastoral skills of evangelization and discipleship. We then help launch leaders into a future, where the planning, vision, work, and focus are centered around making missionary disciples.
What happens at Transformed?
Parish and Diocesan staff will be personally equipped to start the process of renewal, by learning hands-on strategies of evangelization and missionary discipleship. We get past the buzzwords and dive into fruitfulness.
Who should attend?
If you are a Catholic leader in a parish or diocese who is ready to take the next step in transforming your parish or diocese into what Jesus envisions it to be, you should come.
Why should we attend?
Because the "way we have always done things" just isn't working any more. The Church doesn't need to shift her teaching, Sacraments, or theology in order to change our pastoral practices and strategy of reaching others.
